These one-and two-night packages allow you to book a special get-away with just one reservation. Call or email – tell us the dates and package you want. We’ll do all the rest, and we’ll provide a proposed itinerary to you for your approval well in advance of your arrival.
Wine Lovers 2-Night Package
The perfect way to visit approximately four of the best vineyards and wineries in the area, without having to worry about driving. We’ll make your dinner reservation for the night you arrive, and chocolates with a bottle of fine dessert wine will be waiting for you in your room when you return from dinner. Your “tour of the grapes” will start mid-morning the next day. Your exact itinerary will depend on the day of the week and the time of the year (not all wineries are open 7 days), but will include 3 to 5 of the best local vineyards and wineries, as well as lunch at a local restaurant. An insured, professional driver will come to the B&B and chauffer you in your own car. (Sedans or limos available at an extra charge.) The driver will return you to the B&B and we’ll make a dinner reservation for you for the second night. Package price includes 2 nights lodging in our best-available queen-size room at the time of reservation, breakfasts, cocktails at the B&B each evening, driver, tasting fees where imposed by vineyards, and all arrangements. Lunch, dinners and gratuities not included.

Nature Lovers 2-Night Package
Like to hike, bike or spelunk? We’ll custom plan a full day of outdoor activities for you, including maps for hiking trails to hidden waterfalls in Shenandoah National Park or bicycling routes on the backroads suited to your level of preference, and we’ll schedule a visit for you to Luray Caverns. We’ll also loan our birding and animal guidebooks to you. Package price includes 2 nights lodging in our best-available queen-size room at the time of reservation, breakfasts, cocktails at the B&B each evening, a picnic lunch for 2, a hiking kit featuring customized maps, trail snacks and bottled water, admission fees to parks, and an in-room basket of things to soothe sore muscles, including body lotion, loofah sponge and a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, plus all arrangements. Dinners and gratuities not included.

We Want To Stay In Basket
Sometimes, the best get-away of all is the one that doesn’t require you to leave the house: Lounge on our porch, in the hammock, or in front of the Library fireplace. We’ll provide a basket of goodies to make staying in seem like a good idea: An ample supply of artisan cheeses, meats and breads, fresh fruits, chocolates, a bottle of body lotion, a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and other things to amuse the palate and the mind. You won’t need to go out for lunch, but we’ll make a dinner reservation for you! If you like, we can refresh the basket daily if you are staying more than one night. And, yes, you get to keep the locally handmade basket! Dinner not included.

Flowers
We can arrange fresh flowers for your room in connection with any stay: Specify preferred kinds of flowers and maximum price (minimum is $65). We’ll get the best price we can and you’ll be able to take the arrangement with you when you leave, of course. |
